What data we collect

When you use Buildcheck we collect:

• The workflow goal text you enter
• Your IP address for rate limiting purposes
• Usage logs including your inputs, results, and any optional values you enter during your analysis
• Your email address if you request your results or opt in to updates
• Your name, email address, and phone number if you submit a ‘Let’s talk’ enquiry

Why we collect it

• To operate the tool and deliver your result
• To prevent abuse via rate limiting
• To understand how the tool is being used and improve it
• To send you your results and, if you opted in, occasional tips on AI workflows and related services
• To identify common workflow patterns and inform future product development
• To respond to enquiries submitted via the ‘Let’s talk’ form

Who we share it with

We use the following third party services to operate Buildcheck. Each processes data on our behalf under their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — database and log storage — supabase.com/privacy
• Upstash — rate limiting — upstash.com/privacy
• OpenRouter — AI processing of your workflow goal — openrouter.ai/privacy
• Vercel — hosting and analytics — vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Resend — email delivery — resend.com/privacy

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

Email communications

If you provide your email address and opt in to updates, we may occasionally send you tips on AI workflows and related services. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting hello@buildcheck.app.

Cookies

Buildcheck uses functional cookies necessary for the site to operate. We use Vercel Analytics which is privacy-friendly and does not use tracking or advertising cookies. No cookie consent banner is required.

Data retention

We retain workflow logs for 12 months. Email addresses are retained until you request deletion. Contact enquiry details submitted via the ‘Let’s talk’ form are retained for as long as necessary to respond to and manage the enquiry.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us at hello@buildcheck.app and we will respond within 10 working days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
